Michelle D. Brodie Butterfly Photos

I was sitting eating my lunch on the Indian Joe Nature Trail at Sunol Regional Wilderness 5/16/09, on an absolutely fabulous day when I saw this tiny hairstreak on a sycamore leaf. I just assumed it was a Gray Hairstreak but since my camera was at my side where it should be I clicked away and low and behold when I got home found it was a new butterfly for me. It is very similar to the Sylvan Hairstreak but I decided on CA Hairstreak due to the slight orange on the blue square and the lower orange spot.
